Must have had a "Zig-zag" plate transformer, then, and twelve 
"rectumfriers" (sic).


"Six-phase", which is actually three-phase full-wave, employs six 
recumfriers.

"Four-phase, which is actually two-phase full-wave, and was found on some 
older RCA units, employs four rectumfriers.


Most units of 5 kW and above are "six-phase".
