I do not think you are thinking big enough.  Why would an auto 
manufacturer be less likely to implement something as simple as this as 
compared to Ibiquity?  Satellite receivers are more expensive to develop 
than sub carrier receivers which also receive your main channel....wait 
a minute...that is what Ibiquity is trying to accomplish at ten times 
the cost.  Think about that, for every Ibiquity FM station there could 
be more than 10 DRE stations providing 30 or 40 different programs for 
the same investment.  Now it makes sense to put them in cars.
