[BC] Your site in view

As many of you know, recently, a lot of newer aerial photos have been added
to Terraserver and Google maps. Perhaps some areas are a few years old,
but the pix are good, and sometimes an older photo is available with a
newer one, too.

One of the benefits of the Google mapping feature is the ability to
dynamically move the map around by "Dragging" it ... instead of having to
use the "left" "right" "up" "down" "diagonal" of TerraServer and topozone.

TerraServer seems to permit closer zooms than Google, on many sites. And
Google gives some "google" watermarking. Also, the maps (topo/aerial/urban)
do seem to be slightly different.

And while topozone is still there, and does mix topo maps with aerial
photos, it is a bit more cumbersome than many sites, and no longer shows
the coordinates dynamically.

A few areas are really rough, especially along the US/Mexican border. and
some maps don't sync entirely.

At any rate, the maps work in decimal coordinates ... (topozone can be
manipulated to D/M/S). Try -111.11651 and 32.24907 in TerraServer, or
32.24907n, 111.11651w in maps.google.com.

That is the Tucson Mountain Site.

What are the coordinates of your site? (find it, and by clicking on the
center, the map will give you the decimal coordinates.)
