In my experience, the 45s from Epic/Columbia used the lowest grade
styrene available. London/Deram too. They would cue burn immediately.

Capitol and RCA seemed to use relatively high quality vinyl for their
singles. Tougher to cue burn, but a diligent or nervous DJ could
always manage.

BTW, a penny is almost exactly 2.5 Grams. Guess why I know that!
