         It is perhaps the unfortunate reality that
         many don't know the genesis of the
         current situation. Remember, ibiquity
         purposely did not spend any significant
         time in speaking to engineers (other
         than to say, "we can't tell you how it
         works").

         I won't give any dates/names, as it
         was never high on my radar in those
         days either - like many of the owners
         Scott has worked for, the lack of info
         from ibiquity plus the knowledge that
         the local station would resist spending
         any money on digital (until forced)
         meant there were other things on
         which to focus.

         So ... someone close to the tech:
         how about a little history?
