[BC] ABC Network in the wired days

how about when AM was the mode and band in BIG LETTERS on the TOP half of 
the tuner and FM was teeny letters and numbers on the bottom half?  :  )

that was back when you were a weirdoo if you listened to FM.

         Bob,

         When was that?  In 1970, the net was fed from
         NYC, and when I was shown the net control center,
         the loop was approx four seconds from "out" to "in."

         Either way, quite an amazing look at how
         propagation over wire definitely has a time
         constant!
