[BC] Police frequencies on AM

I have a mid-1930s QSL card in my collection from New York City Fire
Department station WNYF which transmitted on 1630 kcs and received on
the "UHF" frequency of 35.6 mcs. The 1630 transmitter was 500 watts into
a 1/4 wave insulated tower. The card can be seen on my web site at
