Yes, and pre-NARBA the stations in Costa Rica operated on 25 kHz spacing.  That made it pretty easy to hear San Jose' on 675, 725, 1025, 1075, etc.  There were also some Nicaraguans on "splits," like YNX 775, YNOL 825 and so on.
