Very well then -- let's just leave out the Bible for awhile.  Let's just say:  the Grand Canyon could have been formed by a small amount of water over a long period of time, or by a large amount of water over a short period of time.  That's just logic.  Now, what forces you to prefer the former over the latter, except your own pre-conceived notions of what happened long ages ago?
