Neither the source nor the concepts of the Bible are PROVABLY
authoritative--that has to be taken on religious faith. Creationist
teachings based on the Bible, then, are religious in nature rather than
scientific. Concepts based on the beliefs of a particular religious faith
and its documents should not be used in the public (really, any) schools to
teach a scientific subject in the first place. But in the case of public
schools, that would be a violation of current US laws.

Studying the Bible as an historical document along with the Koran and/or
other religious texts in a course on comparative religions is another
matter, but that isn't what the Creationists are seeking.

Examples of the many, many exceptions to that statement are found throughout
the Bible. Do you believe that the Chapter of Revelation is clear and
unambiguous, for instance?
