what i don't understand is these pirates obvously have the income, why not 
set up a legal part 15 using multiple transmitters. some of these pirates i 
hear are doing 200kw. Big $$$$ to set that up. why not use a system like 
this....

and /or run part 15 am using a similar setup?
it would cost just as much as a 200kw setup and they would be legal.
granted you can't cover 100+ miles, but that is not what pirate radio is 
about. at least in my opinion. a system like this will cover easily a 
average size town. if i had the money i'd setup a part 15 legal system like 
that. btw our government should not complain about pirates when they are 
running two of the biggest pirate stations in the world. Remember Radio/TV 
Marti???? and if they allow florida to pass it's own Radio Laws why jump 
down brattleboro throat??? Brattleboro town has said they want the station 
and said they would sign off when the licensed station comes online.
