Err. Mars has an atmosphere, mostly carbon dioxide.
http://starryskies.com/solar_system/mars/martian_atmosphere.html

It has about one percent of earth's pressure, but it is sill there at
about 1.2 lbs/in.sq. Since a space-suit with 2.4 lbs/in.sq of pure
oxygen pressure will sustain life, and 4.0 lbs/in.sq. will sustain
hard work, a Martian space suit can be lighter and more maneuverable
than one designed for the vacuum of space.

Mars has the same basic problem as Luna - 0.3 g won't retain a
terrestrial atmosphere, either, over geologic time.

We've already lost 40 years of potential progress...

Let's not loose any more.
